THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN ANCHORAGE, AK. NO RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE. THIS IS A TEMPORARY, SUMMER-TIME POSITION.

Position Overview:

Provides basic accounting support.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Performs accounts payable duties: balances books periodically and prepares profit and loss, income and balance sheet statements
• Prepares journal entries
• Provides record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions
• Maintains receipts and disbursement reports
• May prepare federal, state and local reports and tax returns
• May interpret reports and records for managers
• Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures
• Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent; 6 months related experience and/or training.
