Primary Responsibilities:
- Creates and costumizes presentations and documents (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point) by adding graphical elements, including clip art. Business charts, scanned photos, and other graphic materials.
- Converts text to appropriate format for uploading onto websites. Integrates several software products together to work more efficiently and improve data handling and organization.
- Creates and maintains, through data entry, office databases including travel, timekeeping, budget, and property turn-ins.
- Maintains office files according to AR 25-400-2.
- Provides on-the-job training to new employees in Word Processing support functions.

There are no supervisory responsibilities associated with this position.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education/Experience:
High
School Diploma required. Some college coursework preferred. Must have a minimum of four years general office experience. Must be a qualified word processor (at least 50 wpm with no errors) certified by an accredited education institution or state employment. Must have knowledge of advance word processing features such as table and equation creation, macro command language and complex macros, merges, footnotes and endnotes, creating table of contents, reference lists, and importing and exporting files. Must have knowledge of database software. Must have knowledge of grammar, spelling, capitalizing, and punctuating to identify errors and make corrections.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Must possess or be eligible to apply for a Government Security Clearance.
