WAINWRIGHT, AK — It’s that time of the year! Olgoonik wants to honor our shareholders’ hard work and dedication. If you know an outstanding Shareholder Elder, Shareholder Leader, or Shareholder Youth who deserves special recognition, please consider nominating them for this year’s Shareholder of the Year Awards! The deadline for nominations is April 29, 2022. Nominations are accepted in three categories, as outlined below:

YOUTH OF THE YEAR
A shareholder or descendant 25 years or younger who has exhibited strong leadership for the “younger generation” and is an outstanding role model.

LEADER OF THE YEAR
A shareholder or descendant who is an outstanding role model, has exhibited strong leadership or exhibits dedication and commitment to our communities, Olgoonik, or Iñupiat culture.

ELDER OF THE YEAR
A shareholder 60 years or older who is an outstanding role model and exemplifies the Iñupiat values guiding our corporation.

The winning shareholders will be honored at our Annual Meeting of Shareholders and in a future shareholder newsletter. It’s easy to complete a nomination by using the fillable PDF form linked below. Send completed submissions to shareholderservices@olgoonik.com. Alternatively, printed applications can be dropped off at the Wainwright or Anchorage offices. If you would like to have a blank form mailed to you, please email shareholderservices@olgoonik.com and allow adequate time for USPS delivery.
