CAREER TRAINING ASSISTANCE
Depending on your goals, assistance may include internships, on-the-job training, off-site training, and coursework. These program options are valuable ways to gain new career skills and experience.
Attention current or future college and vocational education students! Shareholders are eligible to receive scholarships for post-secondary studies. Qualified recipients are Olgoonik Corporation shareholders or descendants who are enrolling or are currently enrolled in an approved educational program. In May 2007, Olgoonik launched the Imagination Library Program at Alak School in Wainwright. The goal of this nationwide “books-from-birth” project is to foster a love of reading and an appreciation of book ownership. Through the Program, Olgoonik provides children one book per month from birth to their fifth birthday, for a total of 60 books.
Meaningful career development events are hosted regularly at Alak School in Wainwright. Olgoonik Corporation presenters and guest speakers discuss education and career choices with students, sharing real-world methods to bridge the gap from school to college and employment.
